There are plenty of reviews about the Elf and I'm confident the Elf would work just fine for me, the BAM200 is a bit more of a question mark, but then I can't expect it to be disappointing either: it's a very very simple amplifier, as long as it is reasonably clean it'll do the job I want it for.

Hey all! So I don't post a lot on here but since I couldn't find any information, here's a quick review of the BAM 200 amp that recently came out. I was looking for an absolutely "no frills" amp that I could use for DI for studio and live use.

This TC Bam200 is a neat little bass amp, less expensive and comparable to other popular micro bass amps, and just what I wanted for my purposes. Granted, I don't gig with it, but I suspect it has more than enough oomph for smaller venues if you wanted it for that. Beginners looking for a cheap MOSFET amp that has just enough features and performance should be checking out the TC Electronic BAM200.

If you’re looking for a small, portable, no-frills amp then this has to be the best value buy. Es wird die Zeit kommen und leistungsfähige Verstärker werden Platz in einem Klinkenstecker finden. Ob das eine Vision bleibt, kann ich nicht sagen.

I have bought this amp to carry it to any small gigs I have. I have other amp but they are heavy and not ideal to bring them to any gig or practice room. With Bam200 I simply take it on my pocket or gig pocket and I am good to go. It is powerful enough to drive up to 200W cabs.

Power wise, the TC Electronic BAM200 can deliver up to 200 watts of intensity. As a whole package, the TC Electronic BAM200 definitely seems like a quality little amplifier that packs a punch, especially for those on a budget.
